FINTRAC - Remote ID and Mandataries

Greg Dent from ReallyTrusted shares how you can ID someone without ever meeting them, while still being fully FINTRAC compliant.

When you send them an email through the ReallyTrusted software, they'll be asked to submit pictures of their ID along with a selfie, and the software will analyze that the ID is current, valid, and authentic, and will use facial recognition to match the person with the ID – the two steps that FINTRAC requires should you wish to ID someone who isn't physically there.
