The London and St Thomas Association of REALTORS® (LSTAR) Board of Directors is pleased to announce London REALTOR® Jim Smith will serve as its President in 2017.
A Sales Representative with Sutton Group Select Realty, Smith has been a REALTOR® with LSTAR for more than 20 years.
"I am incredibly honoured and really look forward to serving our Members in this leadership role," said Jim Smith, LSTAR 2017 President. "There are many exciting initiatives happening this year at LSTAR, as we continue to enhance the portfolio of services for our Members and showcase the value of working with a REALTOR® to the consumer."
The 2001 winner of the Michelle Montour Memorial Award for Excellence in Real Estate, Smith has volunteered on several LSTAR community engagement events, including the Annual Christmas Gala and the REALTOR® Kool Wheels Committees, as well as participated in various LSTAR teams – including the Corporate Challenge and the Association's "Home Runners" for the Labatt 24-Hour Relay to benefit area hospitals.
A lifelong London resident, Smith serves on LSTAR's Executive Committee, Governance Committee and the Political Affairs Conference (PAC) Team.
