St. Thomas REALTORS® turned out in force to man Salvation Army Christmas Kettles at their local Walmart, collecting $1,210.91 over a two day period (December 4 and 5). "LSTAR has been organizing REALTOR® Day Kettle Drives in London for four years now," says Jim Holody, President of the London and St. Thomas Association of REALTORS®, "and we're very pleased to see our St. Thomas Members come out in such numbers to support their own Kettle Drive."
"Christmas is a time of joy and thanksgiving," says Earl Taylor, LSTAR's St. Thomas Director, himself a participant in the drive, "but it's also a time to be mindful that not everybody in our community has a roof over their head or enough food to eat or warm clothes to wear . . . that there are children who can only dream of having a toy of their own. REALTORS® know that and that's why we are proud to support the Salvation Army at this time of the year."
