The Board of Directors of the London and St. Thomas Association of REALTORS® (LSTAR) is pleased to announce that London REALTOR® Stacey Evoy will serve as its President in 2016.
A native of Sarnia, Ontario, Stacey received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Guelph and worked in the hospitality sector before becoming a REALTOR® in 2003. In the past she has sat on both the Executive and the Professional Standards Committees, the Community Relations, Quality of Life and Home at Last Advisory Groups, the Political Action Team, and the Buyer Registry, Key Box and the MLS® Systems Task Forces. In addition to chairing the Children's Christmas Party, she chaired the Christmas Gala Committee over four consecutive years.
Stacey for many years co-chaired and now sits on the organizing committee for the annual Royal LePage Golf Tournament in support of Women's Community House. She participates in a number of fundraising events throughout the year supporting various charities. Most recently, Stacey sat on the Children's Magical Ball committee in support of Children's Hospital. Stacey is a champion for children and women's issues, specifically research and fundraising in support of breast cancer. She describes mentoring five and six-year-old girls as a Spark Leader in Girl Guides as her most rewarding volunteer work.
